What happens if my products are broken?

All items are carefully checked by us before shipping and tested if necessary. Despite the high quality of the items we have in our range, it may happen that you receive an item that is not perfect. In that case, we will gladly provide you with a suitable solution as soon as possible.

If an item is still defective upon receipt, we kindly request that you report this as soon as possible. If possible by e-mail with your customer details. We will then inform you as soon as possible about a solution.

Legal warranty

A product must possess the properties that are necessary for normal use. In short: do what you, the buyer, may reasonably expect from it. This means that a product may not show any defects during normal use during the expected lifespan. If a product does not meet these expectations - in other words: shows a defect - then Golf Backyard will in principle repair this free of charge, or if that is not possible, deliver a replacement, comparable product.

Product Warranty

V2 Net Return Pro & Home products
1 year full warranty on both the Home and Pro product. In addition, the Pro version has a shot guarantee of 250,000 balls.

Spornia Net
1 year manufacturer's warranty on select parts, this excludes: abnormal use, misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, expected wear and tear, lost merchandise, or damage from the elements.

Do not leave the net outside, as prolonged exposure to sun and rain will damage the net. Damage due to exposure to the elements is not covered by the warranty. Proof of purchase is required for warranty coverage.

Tour Striker Products
Tour Striker warrants its training clubs and training aids to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 90 days. Tour Striker will repair or replace any product or part that is defective or becomes defective during normal use within 90 days of the original date of purchase from Tour Striker. At its option, Tour Striker may replace the product with a new or refurbished product. If the product is no longer available and repair is not reasonably possible, the defective item will be replaced with a comparable product.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover: Tour Striker does not warrant its products against damage caused by third parties or by abnormal use, misuse, abuse, neglect or accident. This warranty does not cover products that have been repaired or modified by anyone other than Tour Striker. This warranty does not cover dents, chips, tire marks, deep scratches, unusual rust, excessively bent axles, paint scratches, cosmetic blemishes or other normal wear and tear. This warranty does not cover products not manufactured by Tour Striker, Inc. This warranty is not transferable.

EyeLine Golf Products
EyeLine Golf warrants to the original purchaser of any EyeLine Golf manufactured product that the product will be free from defects in materials or workmanship for 365 days from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage from accident, misuse, abuse, expected wear and tear, lost merchandise, or damage from the elements. Do not leave products outside as prolonged exposure to sun and rain will degrade them. Damage of this nature is not covered under warranty.

Golf Simulators
Every Ernest Sports product has a 1 year manufacturer's warranty on manufacturing defects. The same applies to SkyTrak and Mevo / Mevo+. However, the same rules as above apply; abnormal use, misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, expected wear and tear, lost merchandise are not covered by the warranty. Make sure that every simulator is protected as well as possible, if it breaks when it is hit by a ball or club, this is not covered by the warranty.

Exceptions to the manufacturer's warranty

Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to compensate for all defects. If the article has been used improperly, unfortunately no claim can be made on the factory warranty. By improper use we mean the following.

Incidental damage to the net upholstery, grooves in the golf mats, broken aids due to carelessness;
This includes using sharp objects (such as scissors or a knife) near the product. We also recommend that you proceed with care and caution when unpacking the product. Damage, such as a tear in the upholstery, caused by the use of sharp objects will not be reimbursed by the manufacturer.

Damage to the upholstery due to the use of incorrect cleaning agents or chemicals
Using the wrong cleaning agents or stronger chemicals can damage the nets, so do not put them in the washing machine.

Damage in general due to not reading the instructions properly
Although this may sound less relevant for a golf mat, for example, this is definitely something you should take into account with a golf net or simulator. Therefore, always read the user manual of the product and always contact us if you have any questions!

    Complaints

    As of 15 February 2016, consumers in the EU can also file complaints via the European Commission's ODR platform. This ODR platform can be found at h ttp://ec.europa.eu/odr . If your complaint is not yet being processed elsewhere, you are free to file your complaint via the European Union platform.
