Optimize your putting technique!

The most advanced putting technology there is: Capto Golf. A hi-tech device that is still mostly used by golf professionals. But we at Golf Backyard, together with Capto, ensure that every golfer can become a master putter. This bundle contains the following products:

  • Capto with protective box
  • Calibration tool
  • Loft location meter
  • Access to online course Level 1 and 2

How does Capto work?

After turning on the sensor, attach the Capto to your putter shaft, connect it to iOS, Windows, MacOSX or Android, launch the application, calibrate the Capto and start measuring!

From that point on there are several options:

  1. 3D visualization
  2. Lab
  3. Live
  4. Custom mode
  5. Green

3D Visualization

This mode allows you to map your putting motion. Think of it this way, if you come from the outside to the inside of a golf swing, a fade can occur. This same principle applies to putting, which is why your putting trajectory is so important.

In addition, in this mode you can see the correct putting path and the shaft path is displayed. Finally, statistics are displayed such as the shart kernel. A low value means that there is a stable movement around your axis. Suppose you extend the putter until it pricks the middle of your chest, you want to rotate around this during the entire putt. If you go too far in front of or behind the ball with your hands, the extension of your putter no longer points to the middle of your chest, which means that your kernel values are higher (worse).

Lab

This is the standard mode where 16 different points of your putt are highlighted, after which you can zoom in further on each data point for more statistics.

  • “Face angle” (angle of approach of the putter)
  • “Shaft angle” (angle of your shaft)
  • “Lie angle” (putting head pointing down or up)
  • “Angles”
  • “Track” (indoor/outdoor movement)
  • “Arc” (up/down movement)
  • “Angles to Path/Arc”
  • “3D Motion” (3D image)
  • “Launch” (ball direction, dynamic loft direction)
  • “Energy” (calculation based on topspin / backspin, angle of attack, sweet spot)
  • “Rotations” (consistent movement)
  • “Impact Sweet Spot” (sweet spot putter)
  • “Handling” (wrist movement)
  • “Trembling” (hand vibrations)
  • “Acceleration/Speeds” (parabolic velocity, where do you make speed)
  • “Tempo” (time)

Live

A mode that is very useful to see exactly what each movement does. For example, if you lift your putter a little, you will see the number of degrees on the screen change immediately. This way you experience directly what a small difference can do to the data.

Custom mode

This is the mode most used by Capto users. You select up to a maximum of 9 components to focus on. Just like with your golf swing, one training focuses on your grip, the other on your take-away. The same goes for putting, one training focuses on the sweet spot and energy transfer, the other training on your angles.

There are as many as 32 components you could focus on.

Green

This mode is very similar to the Live mode, except that you actually putt the golf ball. After each putt you will see three statistics big on your screen:

  1. Face angle
  2. Shaft angle
  3. Track

Software

The Capto software is in English, so you will have to learn to understand what all the terms mean. However, it is my job to make it as clear as possible. We are currently working hard on videos so that you will know exactly how Capto works when you purchase it. In addition, we recommend that you take the following two free courses:
