WellPutt is very thin compared to other putting mats. This means that they are less suitable for carpet, but this is the reason that they show so little wear. With thicker putting mats, a groove will appear sooner, which is not good for putting.
The dimensions of this putting mat are 300cm by 35cm. That is not very wide, but we speak from experience and with a wider putting mat you will still always putt straight through the middle. In other words, the width does not matter much!
The stimp of this putting mat is 10.5.
What does that mean exactly: the higher the stimp, the faster the green.
For comparison; the average Dutch golf course has a stimp of 8.3, a good course here in the Netherlands can achieve a stimp of 9.0 on a dry summer day.
